Mounttown Early Years believes that the principle of equal opportunities is fundamental and this is integrated into every area of the programme.
We make every effort to ensure that the service is accessible to all children irrespective of their, or their parents’ gender, ethnicity, culture, religion, language, sexual orientation, age, ability, disability or social circumstances.
Allocation of places
Priority for the allocation of available places will be in the following order:
- Children who live within the catchment area of Mounttown Early Years’ Service; Mounttown, Monkstown Farm, Honeypark & Dunedin, and families who are in receipt of social welfare payments/medical card holders.
- Children of families living in nearby designated disadvantaged communities including those across Sallynoggin and Dun Laoghaire.
- Children of families that are originally from the local areas listed above.
- All other children and families living in the greater Dun Laoghaire catchment areas not listed above.
When all available places are taken up, a waiting list will be established. Acceptance will generally be based on the date the child’s name is placed on the waiting list; however priority will be decided according to the above criteria and consequently a child’s position on the waiting list may change.
Please first contact the service to discuss your interest in booking your child into the service.
