Mounttown Early Years' Service asks parents to pay fees in advance. Fees are normally charged on a weekly basis. Children can book in to attend the service on a full time, part time or on a sessional basis and different rates apply to each. All places are subject to availability.
Community Childcare Subvention (CCS) Programme
Subsidised Fees are available to parents who are eligible for the CCS scheme. As a parent you may qualify if you have, for example, a medical card, GP visit card or are in receipt of certain Dept. of Social Protection payments such as One Parent Family or Job Seekers Allowance. Please contact the manager to find out more.
Training and Employment Childcare (TEC) Programme
Parents who are eligible for a Childcare Employment & Training Support (CETS) and Community Employment Childcare (CEC) Prorgamme can access a subsidised childcare place at Mounttown Early Years, subject to availability. You will need a letter from your course provider or CE Sponsor to book a place.
Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme
Mounttown Early Years' service is registered with the Department of Children and Youth Affairs to deliver the ECCE scheme. Under this scheme your child can have a three hours free preschool, five days a week for 38 weeks between September and June.
Children are eligible for the ECCE scheme from September 2016 once they are three years of age. Once your child turns three years they can join the ECCE from the following September, January and April, as relevant.
A 10% discount is available to parents who have a second child attending the service.
